Dan Harmon is a damn genius
Dan "Rick & Morty" Harmon is a brilliant, brilliant man and here's why:
The ability to explain complicated subjects simp[ly is probably the greatest skill someone can have, and hot damn does he have it.
SE follows this kinda to a fault. Not only does the first volume follow the Story Circle, but each chapter in the volume also follows it (through Corelle's experiences). It's something I was taught in college and I really wish we'd had Harmon's version to start with, since his is so much easier and more solid.

I LOVE THIS GUY.
He only has ten videos so far but he's awesome and VERY educational if you want to learn about writing a strong multimedia story.
Comics and movies have a lot in common. Both require a written script, characters you can see with costumes and body language, reoccurring sets, lighting, pacing, atmosphere, etc. The main differences are:
1. No sound
2. you have to think in terms of page layout rather then playing with time itself
3. You and only you control everything that happens
